I just had my gall bladder removed. He did an excellent job. Hardly any pain after surgery.

Unfortunately I have to give a star when he deserves none. Worse doctor known to man. He performed a colectomy with temporary loop ileostomy. 9 months later, I still have not healed and he said I need my surgery re-done and he does not have the expertise to do so. He said he would find a surgeon who would have the ability to perform my complex surgery. 5 weeks have passed. He has not done research, dropped me as a patient and will not return my calls. The staff is equally uncaring and rude.

My experience with Dr. Prasad could not have gone any better. He took the time to explain everything to me throughout the entire process. I felt informed and well cared for from my first meeting with him to my final followup appointment. The surgery itself went flawlessly. Because of his skillfulness as a surgeon I healed quickly with no complications. I highly recommend Dr. Prasad and his staff to anyone needing a caring and highly skilled surgeon .

Dr Prasad is an excellent doctor, takes very good care of his patients, and I would recommend him to family and friends.
in Anchorage, AK |
Dr. Prasad gives every indication that he truly cares about his patients. Given my situation he went above and beyond to see me in office, coordinate an extensive surgery with another physician and his follow up was equally impressive. His knowledge and willingness to leave no stone unturned to arrive at a diagnosis was amazing. If I need additional surgeries, he will be my #1 choice!
Anchorage, AK |
Very good bedside manner. Took time to listen to me, answer my questions, and was concerned with my needs. The operation was very successful with a fast recovery and no pain worth mentioning. While I hope I never need another surgery, if I do, he's the one I will go see.

Very friendly. Put me at ease from the minute I met him. Very knowledgeable in his field yet talks on my level and not in medical terms. Takes time to explain all my questions. Very happy with my surgery so far.
