Dermatologist Referred Me - Very Disappointed
I was referred to Dr Agarwal from my dermatologist for ocular plastic surgery after removal of a basal cell carcinoma on my eyelid. I was happy that she was in my insurance network. She did several procedures for testing vision and eyeball shape, even tho I've had my ophthalmology visit recently. My insurance covered part of these expenses, but in hindsight, I believe these test could have been elective. Her consult was $725. I also went to a radiologist, $517 and a MOHS/Plastic Surgeon $150. I feel that this was an excessive price for a consult. Out of the three I was most comfortable with MOHS/Plastic Surgeon. I also had an issue w/ my bill once Blue Sheild paid and I didn't get any assistance from Dr Agarwal's staff. I called Blue Sheild and they called the staff to correct charges. Just not a great experience.

Compassionate, Experienced & Trustworthy Doctor!
I have seen Dr. Agarwal for a few months. She is wonderful to work with because she is straightforward in her communication and treats me as her most important patient. I appreciate her helpful and attentive staff as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Agarwal to my friends and family.

I was seen by Dr. Agarwal on October 18th and has the most awful experience. She seemed to have great reviews, however her most recent reviews over the past year show that I was not the only one who experienced such cruelness and dismissal. I was suddenly diagnosed by my eye doctor with nystagmus during an eye exam. At the time, my eye sight was suddenly getting progressively worse and I was unable to see at night. I was prescribed glasses(my eye sight was not good). When my eye doctor noticed the nystagmus, she told me I needed to see my primary care doctor as soon as possible. Nystagmus is caused from the connection of the brain to the eye. My primary care doctor then referred me to Dr. Argwal. When Dr. Agarwal entered the room, she was instantly rude. She didnt even look at me and went straight to her computer. She said "what do you need help with" in a very aggressive tone. I was in a bit of shock. I explained to her how I was told by two doctors that I had nystagmus and had been experiencing suddem vision loss, as well as awful headaches. She proceeded to tell me I dont not have nystagmus. I asked her if she could do an exam and she said she already looked at my eyes(which she hadnt even looked towards me) and insisted I did not have it. I explained to her about my vision loss and she told me I had 20/20 vision(I clearly do not and had already been prescribed glasses). She became extremely aggressive and stood up, put the largest letter up on the wall, and asked me if I could see it. I said yes and she said "see, you have 20/20 vision". I could not believe it! I was in tears and told her it was extremely unacceptable how she was treating me. She then proceeded to tell me(her words) "I am clearly not qualified enough to help you(as she pointed to her photos of her degrees) so you will need to see someone else who studies odd patients and told me to get out of her office. She opened her door and told me to leave. I could not believe what was happening. I finally got a referral to a specialist UCI(the same type of specialist as Dr. Ararwal) and was told immediately that I absolutely have nystagmus and would need an MRI on my brain. Her dismissal of my diagnosis from 2 other doctors prior to seeing her and refusing to even do an exam herself can result in serious health problems with her patients, especially when the diagnosis directly involves the brain. It is a shame that she used to have great reviews and for over a year now she has been treating her patients this horribly and dismissing serious health concerns. I truly hope the medical board looks deeply into this and contacts the patients who were also recently seen by her so this does not happen to anyone else.

Spoke with staff making appointment. They were very clear about instructions and financial policies. Very professional. The doctor was very kind and explained things clearly. She said she was now "my mama bear" and would plan my treatment accordingly. Glad someone still cares about patients in 2022.

I came to her with a weird eyelid bump and she removed it. She also proved my tear ducts were normal- she is not trying to do surgeries that are not necessary. Much appreciated.

Bright star on a rainy day! Had significant trouble with my double vision and feeling very blessed for the clear understanding. This is a complex topic, drowned myself googling. I had a full workup by Dr Agarwahl and she made sure I was safe! I am so pleased that I am improving, and very grateful to Dr A for doing the whole workup. Glad I dont have anything nasty. On my way to recovery and appreciate her explanations.

DO NOT waste your time seeing this doctor! Look through all the reviews and read the ones that are 1 star and judge for yourself. I have never been more disgusted, frustrated and let down this much in my life by this doctor and by the staff she employs. There are NO health and safety procedures being followed here. NO temperature checks and NO questions in regards to your possible or actual exposure to COVID. Just hello, do you have your credit card so we can make it easier to process payments? Dr. Madhu R. Agarwal has no bedside manner, no empathy, no personality and must be a money hungry person fueled by greed. Look at what other people say about how she bills people! Her staff are no better and are liars. After weeks of waiting to get an appointment, we showed up right on time at 7:30AM only to he told, oh sorry, we cancelled all appointments today. We called one time and sent an email was their justification. Did they pay me a missed office fee for taking the day off work an
