I absolutely do not recommend this office. Dr. O’Brien did surgery on my husband’s knee. We have never met Dr. O’Brien. He never came to talk to either of us. We did not receive aftercare instructions. They just said to take off the wrap and he can shower. Didn’t tell us how to clean the stitches, how many stitches there were, what they did exactly, nothing. It was horrible. I’ve called the office 6 times now and still haven’t received answers or a call back.

They don't respect your time at all. They told me to arrive 15 minutes early, then I waited in their lobby over 45 minutes before going back to sit in the exam room even longer. Also called me the day of my previous appointment to reschedule me because their PA decided not to come to work.

I would HIGHLY advise not to waste your time with this office. My husband is a an Army soldier and they screwed up his referral for surgery and cancelled his surgery at the last minute due to THEIR error. They do not respect their patients time and circumstances and are only concerned about money. My husband deserved better care and concern then this!

My son has had 2 surgeries on his knee by Dr. O'Brien since 2009 due to separate injuries as well has being treated for a fractured scaphoid. He has had excellent care by the doctor, PA and staff. He hasn't had any problems with either the knee or the wrist / hand since being released. I would highly recommend Dr. O'Brien. Sometimes the wait is long but you can normally expect a long wait time for just about ANY specialist worth seeing.

Horrible experience! Oh how I wish I would've read his reviews!!!!! If you screw up and use him make sure you can handle pain because he frowns on helping patients with pain. I received maybe 8 days of pain meds!! I've had surgeries before but I've NEVER not received pain meds for a reasonable time. I had elbow replacement surgery and although it was the fourth surgery it's been the most pain I've ever Ever experienced!!!! Total disappointment

My 8 year old daughter and husband are STILL waiting to see Dr. O'Brian after and 1 1/2 hours! Wish I would have seen the reviews prior to making the appt. I would not recommend just based on wait time. We'll see if he spends more than 2 minutes with her. Doubtful.
Norman, OK |
As a provider myself, I was very disappointed in my service & care with Dr. O'Brien and his staff. The wait time was excessive both in the lobby & room. (The paperwork is extensive in comparison to other providers.) I watched 3 who arrived after me, being called back. The doctor appeared twice in the room with a total time of less than 2 minutes. No acknowledgement was given about any of these issues. I felt an overall attitude of discourtesy and specifically, my time was less important.

Over the years I've been seeing dr. O'Brien and he is one of the best doctors for every Orthopedic issues that I have had since he was in practice. Dr O'Brien has done many surgeries on me unfortunately but he's always taking the best care of arms hands legs and my knees. I highly recommend him for anything that you need done that is an orthopedic situation that he can handle!
