Lynnette Moore, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She went on to receive her doctor of medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed a combined family medicine and internal medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Before joining Bon Secours, Dr. Moore worked in a medical practice providing care to adults and children. She also has provided primary and acute nonsurgical medical care to veterans, active-duty military and their families in Portsmouth Naval Medical Center branch clinics across Hampton Roads. Dr. Moore is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Virginia Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Moore has been active with several local health promotion organizations in educating the community on various important health issues. Wanting everyone to live life to the fullest, Dr. Moore passionately educates and inspires others to achieve their greatest health potential by integrating holistic health principles into her family and internal medicine practice. She has a special interest in preventive and lifestyle medicine.
