Dr. Sayyur treated my mother, who died in Jan 2020. Because of Sayyur's neglect all through 2016, my mother deteriorated until she was admitted to Hospice in Feb 2017; with Hospice, my mother recovered much of her energy and had a significant improvement in her standard of health. During his "care," Sayyur would not give my mother an indwelling catheter; an oxygen machine; and he gave her Lasix, which did not work. Sayyur ignored my mother's state of health in 2016, especially her inability to sleep, breathe, and her edema. But I do give Sayyur credit for telling my mother to suck on lemon drops for her dry mouth and that she elevate her legs to alleviate the edema in her feet and ankles – that was the extent of his care in 2016. And, No, Dr. Sayyur -- my mother did not have dementia, as you diagnosed in a 3 minute interview in St. Jude’s ER in Nov 2016. My mother was 3 years in Hospice and was comfortable until her last month, no thanks to Sayyur. I give my thanks to Medicare!
