Patient Consultation
My husband and I sat down with Dr. Nordquist for nearly two hours. He gave us much needed information on diagnosis, treatments and advancements. We had time to ask questions and get answers. Dr. Nordquist helped us make an informed decision on what to do next.

A Prostate Cancer Doctor who is patient centric
Dr. Luke Nordquist has been managing my incurable prostate cancer since 2017 when surgical intervention in 2016 did not succeed in removing cancer from me. He is a straight shooter who provides great overviews of what is happening and how it will be addressed. He places you at ease during a time when you need that the most. He told me in 2017 that at that time, there is no cure for me but that there were ample methods of controlling cancer and keeping me healthy. As I approach my seventh year of treatment, cancer is barely detectable and I am indeed healthy. Dr. Nordquist and his awesome staff are calming, and attentive to patients. All men with prostate cancer should be aware of the tremendous success that he has in treating prostate cancer. Kudos to Dr. Nordquist !!!

Not totally satisfied.
I have only seen Dr. Nordquist once in 2 years. I am really disappointed that Eligard is $5100 every 3 months. Initially, they accepted the results of another urologist and never checked them self. I have asked a chest x-ray be done again and have been refused, as I want to see the results of any change.

The staff is caring , understanding , works with you. Dr Luke Nordquist, is kind, he explains things pros and cons, so you understand them. Prostrate Cancer is scary enough, many options were explained to us. Walked us through and discussed things so we would understand them. we were treated as human beings and not a number.

Dr. Luke and his team are great
I have been being treated by Dr. and his team for going on 6 yrs. During this this I have always felt like a person not just "another patient". His treatments are cutting edge and have things at bay by changing things up as circumstances require.

Over and above
When was the last time a physician spent three hours with you outside of a surgical suite? Dr. Luke Nordquist gave me that time, and more. This is healthcare at a new level and I look forward to a continuing relationship with the Omaha UCC. Thank you!

No One Better
My husband has had prostate cancer for 21 years. We have traveled the US trying to get advanced scans and treatments. We have never had such excellent and efficient care anywhere as received received from Dr. Luke and his staff. I wish his operation would be considered by others as a best practices model. He also take time and seems very caring. My husband was evaluated there in September, 2021. I have thought about moving to Omaha just to remain under his care. Dr. Luke also has many prostate cancer clinical trials available for those that qualify. Unfortunately, my husband didn't qualify for the one we wanted. We were sent home with a list of other options to try. Ultimately, Dr. Luke gave us hope that my husband has some options left for treatment. Other doctors seemed to discourage us from trying and to piously accept death which we know is inevitable. Meanwhile, my husband feels like he has life to live thanks to encouragement by Dr. Luke.
