Dr. Urrea is a GREAT doctor. This last visit he actually relaxed a bit & joked with me. He has taken very good care of me & my R. shoulder. Dr. Urrea is considerate and helpful.

Is there a negative star rating? I took my mom to see Dr. Urrea and I would NEVER recommend him! After waiting two hours to see him, he barely spent two minutes with my mom. He was in such a hurry; it was as if we were inconveniencing him! He never allowed her to ask questions or complete her sentences. His bedside manner is nonexistent. Perhaps he should consider retiring since he obviously has no compassion nor desire to do his job. Save your time and frustration, and find another doctor.

I have Had a complete reverse shoulder replacement I was informed by a pre operation Dr. That this would be an EXTREMELY painful surgery. I informed Dr. Urea at my last POST operation visit i experienced little pain. Dr, Urea gave me a new shoulder allowing me to do anything! Dr Urea has since replaced my right knee. I cannot POSSIBLY tell people just how well this surgery went. I hope for patients sake that this Dr. NEVER retires. He is the only Dr. I want for joint replacement.

Dr. Urrea is awesome! His professionalism and bedside manner is great. He listens to you and does a thorough evaluation each visit to assure you are making progress. He always gives sound advice and options for your to consider and tells you what he feels is best based on your input. I had shoulder rotator cuff surgery that Dr. Urrea performed back in August of 2017 and it is nearly fully functional again only 5 months later. I highly recommend Dr. Urrea.

Worst experience of my life. The man has an ego beyond belief. After a total knee replacement I continued to have pain. He said "I have never had a patient 12 months out of surgery still have pain". Instead of trying to figure out what was wrong he blamed me. After changing doctors my knee was scoped and found that the hardware in the tibia was loose. Dr Urrea again took no ownership by say "I doubt it, that is very rare".

Dr. Urrea made me very uncomfortable. He was more like a district attorney trying to discredit me...putting me in a defensive mode. On my second visit he didn't even acknowledge me and his assistant saw me instead. (She was friendly and informative). I won't be going back to see him.

I was very disappointed that my follow up appointment was with Dr Urrea, but when I arrived , I was seen by his assistant . The doctor did not even have the curtesy of even explaining why I was not seen by him personally . I make appointments to see the doctor, not his assistant .... Very unprofessional. The staff was very friendly and helpful . This was on remcon circle drive offices.

Dr. Urrea is a World-class, 5-star orthopedic surgeon w ho has been able to keep me pedaling over the past decade+, after he took care of my meniscus tear, September, 2005. I've had other physical challenges (shoulder strain after bungee jump from the Ledge, Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand; sciatica, leg collapse) and he has always expertly diagnosed and able to make better. He is very charismatic, professional & knowledgeable about options in my treatment.

I like the doctor the facility is horrible. The doctor wanted an injection for me then to follow up with him.. They canceled the appt. for the injection TWICE and I was tired of re scheduling the shot because then I had to reschedule my follow up appt. with Dr Urrea.
