Dr. Santiago also completed both a fellowship and research fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida. An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Santiago is a proud Veteran, having served as a Major in the United States Army."

I had to have a hemorrhoidectomy. Dr Santiago made it a better experience than it should have been. She advised that I try other treatment first to avoid surgery at my age. I was in a lot of pain and unsure what was happening with my body. I went to 3 different doctors and I was getting frustrated when I was referred to Dr. Santiago.
