Dr. Stabile's Care Philosophy

I don't see patients only as diseases or conditions to be treated but try to put myself in their shoes. The principle of maximization of conservative care until exhausted is my belief. When surgery is recommended, I try to convey typical patient experience. For joint replacement surgery, models, handouts, and preoperative teaching classes are used to minimize patient apprehension by education. Patients are encouraged to have family members present in order to assist in decision making.

My appointment was a waste of my time. He(the doctor, slammed patient door. His bedside manner, none. Empathy towards patients none. You should have a caring approach to your patients.

Great surgeon, wonderful staff and life changing results ! I still can't believe I was back to work in two weeks, full schedule in twenty eight days , after a total hip replacement ! Dr. Stabile loves what he does and it shows !!

I can not speak more highly of Dr. Stabile. I had a dislocated hip and it had been dislocated for a very long time. I was considered a high risk patient as I also have Cerebral Palsy. Dr. Stabile was very confident and assured me that he could help me. He answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed during our visits. I am recovering from surgery now and my pain level has gone from a high 10 to little or no pain. I highly recommend Dr. Stabile. I did my research and this man is the best.

Dr Stabile was so rude from the moment he stepped in the room! He didn't acknowledge my wife even after I introduced myself and her--twice! He didn't listen or show any concern as to my complaints or history. He repeatedly interrupted. He did not speak in a way that a lay person could understand-- I could barely follow even with 25 years hospital nursing experience! It was like listening to someone recite from a medical text book . I wouldn't recommend him to ANYONE!!! DO NOT GO!!!
Not sure what "acknowledge" really is. I said hello when introduced but did not shake hands. Perhaps this was initial misunderstanding. Handshakes can be a mode of disease transmission in a busy office. I always go through diagnostic data with care but admit sometimes it may go over the patient's head, even if they are a nurse, but I always give opportunity to ask questions. As to being rude, this patient verbally assaulted me with profanities and vulgarity which were witnessed by my staff.

Was in a really bad motorcycle hit and run. Shattered my right foot, left palm, and right clavicle in 4 peices. I was a humpty dumpty of patients, 3 years later, not a single problem. I am forever thankful to Dr. Stabile. 3 surgeries, a couple follow ups, and I was good to go. No prolonging issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend him to anyone on this green earth! Thank you Stabile, even your sarcasm lol.

I had a Total Right Hip Replacement on March, 2011. He did a FANTASTIC job.
in Palm Desert, CA |
My experience with Dr. Stabile and his staff was first rate on every level. They didn't keep me waiting long times, they answered every question patiently, and brought me through surgery with flying colors. Dr. Stabile came highly recommended, is very smart, and extremely experienced. Coming from a family of doctors, it's very easy for me to tell when someone knows what they're talking about and has the confidence of thousands of successful procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Louis Stabile.

Dr. Stabile says...

I have been performing Direct Anterior Total hip replacement since 2006.  I was the first to perform one here in the Coachella valley and I estimate that I have done over 700 including some revisions with this approach.  My average stay is below national averages for hip replacement.

I have had special training in robotic assisted partial knee replacement and hip replacement and incorporate it in my practice of joint reconstruction.
