I love Dr. Pealstein. He is great. No one ever answers the phones or calls back the same day as they promise. If you're in a lot of pain you could have a stroke by the time the front desk returns your call for an appointment.

I had my yearly visit with Dr. Louis Pearlstein,Neurologist,in Bensalem,Pa.-Once again, I was greeted so warmly by the staff, and must admit I always look forward to seeing Dr. Pearlstein every year. He treats everyone with such respect and honesty, and so knowledgable in his profession. I make appointments with ease, and always get a reminder call. Two employees names I recall , Maria and Tara. Both great assets to his staff! Need the expertise of a neurlogist?Dr. Pearlstein is the Dr. for you!

Went in for nerve pain, got a diagnosis of an inflammatory muscle disease (that's likely wrong) without any tests besides a standard blood test. And never addressed the cause of the nerve pain. Gave me some meds and was told to call when I needed more. Forget trying to get answers or clarification because you'll never speak with him over the phone. He has the office staff do it so a 2 minutes conversation takes 3 days with all the back and forth. Needless to say, I'm not impressed.

Nice and helpful when you are actually in the office, but otherwise I was very disappointed. A phone call from a receptionist saying you're having seizures, we're prescribing this medication, no we don't want to see you in person to discuss your results, see you in six months! does not inspire a lot of confidence. I had to INSIST on a follow-up to speak to the doctor and was told nothing about the medication being prescribed, the side-effects (which are pretty scary) etc just told to take it
