Dr. Digiovanni is an Excellent Orthopedic Surgeon. He has been diligently following my hip problem for several years. Throughout this journey in addressing my problem, this physician has always treated each issue with the utmost excellence, competence and care. He diagnosed my problem when so many other doctors simply could not. We are all very fortunate to have such a brilliant surgeon in our community.

Since my July post, I have had surgery to repair the damage caused by Dr. Giovanni’s surgery. Not only did he cause a discontinuity fracture to my pelvis but he also failed to secure the device. When he failed to diagnose the problems he lost interest in my case. The surgery I have just had done at NY Presbyterian hospital had to place in a cage to repair the fracture and replace the lose device in my hip. My NY Presbyterian surgeon who did the surgery said it was “much worse than he thought.”

I had a dislocated ankle with complete torn tendons the indudevavd outside. I came to him for 5 months and he did nothing. I came to appts. and he didn’t even touch me. He didn’t measure how swollen it was compared to the other. Or even see how the movement was. I went to the workman’s comp doctor and he looked at demanded to know why I didn’t have surgery and questioned him. I ended going to a specialist and is now having surgery ASAP. The office screwed up the files and sent the wrong ones.

Had my Right hip replaced in 2012 in DC, had problems ever since. In 2016 Dr. Digiovanni replaced my left hip and in doing so made the necessary adjustment to counter the right hips defect. I had my surgery in July (1 year ago) and I now run 2 miles on the treadmill daily and am able to play basketball with my sons, amazing at 53. Dr. Digiovanni is by far the best, and I would and have recommended others to his office.

After fracturing my hip in an ice accident, Dr. replaced my fractured hip with a total hip replacement. Dr. was extremely thorough in explaining all of the available options. He listened attentively and addressed all of my questions and concerns. My surgery went very well and I have returned to work and all of the outdoor activities that I love. Dr. is a very knowledgeable, compassionate, and talented surgeon. (ECF)

Dr. Digiovanni is the best. After numerous moto-cross injuries Dr. Digiovanni kept me working, hiking and sports for 30 years . Last year he gave me a new life. I had a total knee replacement and could not be happier. I was hiking the peaks of the Catskills in 5 months and still going . I cannot say enough good about Dr. Digiovanni and the entire staff at his office and the Columbia Memorial Hospital. KB
