Dr. Blaum's education includes a BA from University of Notre Dame and a Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He was Chief Resident in General Surgery and Clinical Instructor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson, where he also completed his General Surgery Residency. He has also completed an Advanced Surgical Residency and Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of South Florida/Tampa General Hospital in Tampa.
Dr. Blaum is now a Lieutenant Cardinal who has earned his wings as a flight surgeon. He is an avid pilot and donates his spare time to veterinary surgery for dogs and cats.
