I just got home from my colonoscopy. All I can say is wow! She took her time with me before anesthesia came in, she could tell I was pretty nervous. The staff was very understanding and compassionate. Her office manger Jodye was great as well, I had to wait a couple of months to get an appointment, but once there it was seamless......I'm going to make my husband see her as well.

If I could give this office less than one star, I would. AWFUL experience!!! The office staff is a mess and Dr. is incredibly condescending and rude. They canceled my appointment that took me MONTHS to make then they expected me to wait in their office the day of for over 4 hours. When I woke up, Dr. Slezak thought that that would be a good time to berate me for "not doing what she asked me to"and I followed every step of the prep and was VERY sick from it (which I was not warned of).NEVER AGAIN

After some research I decided to make an appointment with the doctor. I was told her practice is not taken patients with Humana Medicare Supplement coverage. Find that a tad strange....

My wife has seen Dr. Slezak and suggested I do the same. She and her staff are top notch! Highly recommend them.

Dr. Slezak was very knowledgeable and confident. She helped me with compassion, knowing that my last colonoscopy ended in emergency surgery. She calmly and with great patience explained why my last surgery had gone wrong and was angered by the last Doctor's lack of clear communication in his written documentation. She was clear, concise and explained my records in terms that I could understand. My colonoscopy was stress free and she was gentle, kind and caring. Looking forward to our next ap

Waited 3 months for an appointment, arrived to locked building. Called number and was told that they had called many times. Cell phone number has been the same and never disconnected for over 20 years, home number same and never disconnected for over 20 years, Was told Dr. had to leave town, never notified, wasted my time, took time of f from work, and now I'm told that it will be another 3 months before I can be seen. They offered to put me on a cancellation list (over 50 long)

Felt misinformed thus ill-prepared for my surgery. I was told I could be walking around after a couple days, return to work after a few days, and the numbing injection would save me days of pain, which lasted maybe a day; most intolerable pain of my life. I wish I had started a high fiber diet at least a couple days before the surgery, because going to the bathroom with stitches in your anus feels like passing a chef's knife when you go. Sitz bath and cleansing bottle helped immensely.
Its obvious she really cares about her patients. Listening to the patients who have seen her before while I was in the waiting room, told me she was special. She put me at ease explained my options and took the time to call my wife to explain my situation to her. Thanks Doc!!!
