Conyers, GA |
This Doctor was way overbooked. We've waited 4 hours to get the endoscopy done. Waste of half a day.
Brookhaven, GA |
Dr Lucas herself is great - straight-forward, knowledgeable, thoughtful and so on. But her reception team and scheduling practices are terrible. The reception assistant and manager do not keep people informed of delays, and don't apologize or show care when folks have to reschedule due to those delays. As significant delays past appointment times appear to be extremely common, I don't know why they can't schedule better
Atlanta, GA |
She is approachable and will answer any/all questions. She may be direct to some, but I liked her directness as it was matched with empathy and care.

I have been seeing Dr. Lucas for over 11years. She is one of the best physicians I have ever seen. I retired from the Healthcare business and belive when I say she is the best. She saved me from having unnecessary surgery that was recommended by another physician. She is very gentle and had a special way of putting you at ease. I can't say enough good things about her.
Marietta, GA |
I will never go back. I had an 11:15 appointment. After waiting one hour and 55 minutes I left. I'm 70 and it is the first time I have ever done that. Totally unprofessional on her part and that of her staff. I have sine learned she has a reputation for being late. Maybe she should work on that.
in Newnan, GA |
I've had several procedures done over a course of about 5 years and I still have not found the origin of my symptoms. Her office has never called back with responses from test, clearly just recommending test with no care to results. She's never offered any dietary advice or further instruction. She also knew nothing of the recent studies/risk of dimentia against prescribing PPI's as a long term solution for heartburn which was exactly her approach to my treatment. Expect 2 months waittfor apt
Atlanta, GA |
My experience was not good at all. She did not try to understand my issue at all. She hardly gave me 3 mins of check up which I waited for 3 hours to get. Her assistant Shay is one of the most rude assistant I have ever met. In those three minutes she prescribed me three tests and it's been 7 days she is not telling me wats in my reports and not given any medication. Now I have had this pain for 15 days but no response from her still. Horrible timings. Please don't waste your time.
Atlanta, GA |
I have nothing positive to say. She is ALWAYS late for appointments (1.5 hours late for my colonoscopy). NO bedside manor. I don't need a lot of hand-holding but I do want a doctor to take TIME to explain diagnosis', next steps,. After my colonoscopy, Dr. Lucas handed my husband brochures on gastritis, hiatal hernia, and diverticulitis then told us she removed a large polyp. When he started to ask more details she blew him off, saying all of the information would be in the report,

Most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. If your appointment is at 1 be prepared to wait till 3 to be seen. That too she will see you for 5 minutes and give no prognosis. She has no regard for her profession and I dont think she understands the responsibility that comes with being a doctor. When you call back no one will give you any result information . Patient has to suffer with pain and uncertainty as the doctor clearly is more interested in seing other patients and making money.
