This content was provided by Dr. Lemonnier "Dr. Lemonnier joined the faculty in the department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Louisiana Health Sciences Center Shreveport (LSUHSCS) in 2014. She is sub-specialty fellowship trained in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull surgery, and serves as the Director of Rhinology and Skull base surgery. Dr. Lemonnier began her medical education at Wayne State University School of Medicine. After obtaining her Doctorate of Medicine with Distinction she stayed at Wayne State to complete her internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology. Next, Dr. Lemonnier went on to complete a fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at University of Miami under the direction of Dr. Roy Casiano, an internationally recognized expert in the field with one of the most renowned training programs in the country. Prior to joining LSUHSCS Dr. Lemonnier was a faculty member in the Department of Otolaryngology at Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Lemonnier provides specialized care with both medical and surgical intervention for a wide variety of sinonasal disorders including chronic sinusitis and tumors of nasal cavity, sinuses and skull base. She is a member of both the Cystic Fibrosis Team and Endoscopic Skull Program at LSUHSC. In addition to her clinical focus, Dr. Lemonnier has a strong interest in education and is the Associate Residency Program Director. She serves as the Medical Director of the Surgical Skills Laboratory at LSUHSC, SPARTA. SPARTA is a simulated operating room that serves as a teaching facility for medical students, residents and fellows of all surgical specialties.
