I had the good fortune and blessing of choosing Orthopedic Foot Surgeon, Dr. Lorenzo Gamez to operate on my broken foot. The xray showed a displaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal. The surgery went very well. Dr. Gamez is thorough, answers all questions and concerns, and explains everything so that you understand. Dr. Gamez recommended a knee scooter to use right after the surgery which was a tremendous help during the recovery process. He is one of the very best Dr's I have ever known. I am thankful to Dr. Gamez for his outstanding and exemplary medical assistance in his area of Orthopedic expertise. I am walking again thanks to Dr. Gamez. The patient is of utmost importance to him and to his superb staff too. I would highly recommend Dr. Lorenzo Gamez to anyone with a foot ailment. He is the best!

He was very thorough examining my 13yr old daughters broken ankle. He also took the time to explain her MRI in laymen's terms, so that we knew exactly what we were reading/looking at.

I went to him for a 2nd opinion and he was wonderful. Not only does he have an impressive background, he is also easy to talk to, honest, and very knowledgeable. He explained my options completely, even though he probably wouldn't be the doctor doing my surgery.

He took alot of time to address my husband's injury (fractured calcaneus/heel) even though he was leaving for vacation. The followup was very comprehensive, and well-understood. GREAT office!!

I saw Dr Gamez for my chronically swollen/painful left ankle (since 1994). He did not suggest surgery (I was surprised) but an ankle brace. I replied, "Oh, this is like the 30 others I have in my closet." But I went home and tried it. Wow! Using this brace sets my ankle in place where it is allowed to function optimally. Within 2 days the swelling had gone down to the point where people noticed and commented that I had to normal looking ankles for the first time in two decades. Thank you.

2 FAILED bunion repairs, I am left with a painful foot deformity much worse than it was when I began. Have extreme difficulty finding shoes, have to purchase shoes 2 sizes bigger than when I began, pain every day and night, can't even walk my dog anymore. Would NEVER recommend him to my worst enemy!
