I highly encourage everyone to form their own opinions when having an appointment with Dr. Lowery, as my own personal experience is far better and more wonderful than any review I've read online. She was kind, empathetic, compassionate, and determined to help me get to the bottom of my suffering. She spent well over an hour with me going through my entire life history, listening, asking every question she could, and providing ample opportunities for me to ask her questions as well. I've had a lot of experiences with doctors over my lifetime, and not once have I met a doctor as compassionate or thorough as Dr. Lowery. Her nurses, however, were highly unprofessional - one even dropped the F-bomb mulitple times towards the end of my appointment, which floored me to hear in a professional setting from someone who was supposed to hold themselves to a higher level of behavior. Dr. Lowery is wonderful though. Don't be scared by the online negative reviews.

Terrible service here, seems this doctor is only interested in running test after test, even though you have same tests from previous doctor, as for the staff, pretty incompetent nurses "Heather" and "Cathy who we called up to 4 times a day for 3 days before getting a call back, just to send a simple fax to the Health Dept. Making appointments with specialist with out have all proper documentation, and when we complained, we get a letter mailed to us denying us further medical care.

She was very condescending and acted as though I was wasting her time if I didn't have an autoimmune process going on. I was followed previously by a rheumatologist for fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis but apparently these conditions are beneath her and do not warrant her attention. My old rheumatologist helped manage my meds and administered trigger point injections. Thus my confusion about her attitude and abrasiveness.

Don't expect to recieve return phone calls while trying to be seen there - and then hope that she accepts seeing you as a patient. Need of help does not matter to this doctor. Can't answer all of the ratings because never could get someone to call back for an appointment - don't know if it is bad staff or the doctor herself.

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Lowery. She did not have to really help me, as my issues are not under her scope of medicine, but she did. She explained things in a concise manner, took her time with me, listened to my issues and offered advice. Very pleased with her advice and recommendations. Her staff was great and very welcoming as well.

Excellent doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Lowery for many years now. Due to insurance, did change MD's once, but after that experience for two months, I went back to Dr. Lowery despite having to pay higher out of pocket with my insurance.
