Absolutely loved Dr. Strader when I met her for my colon cancer surgery. Day after surgery back in 2016, while laying in hospital bed. I was informed my medical staff that I would need emergency surgery to repair my ureter she accidentally cut while she performed my colon surgery. I had to have another surgeon re attach my right ureter. Had to have a foley which was extremely painful for weeks. We all make mistakes so I chalked this up to error. Back in April 2020, I made an appointment with Strader concerned about abdominal pain, etc. I paid $100 before seeing her for a deposit. Strader never examined me. Just listened to my concerns. Advised on over the counter laxatives and scheduled a colonoscopy for August 2020. I just received a bill for $93.00 which they say is for the examination. I have since cancelled my appointment and won't have her as my surgeon for in the future. My Oncologist exams me more than Strader and provides better care for his patients.

Misdiagnosed my ulcerative colitis, and prescribed strong antibiotics that made things worse. My colitis spiraled out of control, and left me in the hospital for weeks. She kinda just said “who knows” and sent me down the road. When in Wichita, save yourself some time and disappointment; head north to Mayo!

I don't have enough good things to say about Dr. Strader. She saved my life and I'm forever grateful for her. She was so easy to talk to about my concerns and she put my mind at ease before the surgeries. It was a difficult surgery but she did absolutely perfect and I feel blessed to have had her as my surgeon. I would trust her again if I needed surgery.
