      Dr. Linda Thompson graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1974.  She completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh in 1983.  Dr. Thompson completed a fellowship in Hand Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in 1984.  Dr. Thompson is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.  She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.  After 20 years practicing in the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Thompson joined River Region Orthopedics in 2004.
