Felt so disrepected
I had a Saturday appointment because I work. They had me wait for over an hour for my appointment to begin. When I asked what was the problem, they told me "no problem - this is the way the office is run." I cant be a patient of an office that is run SO poorly.

I have been a 10+ year patient of Dr. Frazee, and my experience over that time has been positive. My appointments have begun on time and his team of assistants are positive contributors to the patient experience. I have personally observed generous support of elders/disabled patients. Well done!

I have been seeing Dr. Frazee for over 10 years. He and his office staff are very professional and always make me feel that my needs are important to them. I have had several issues with my eyes and Dr. Frazee has always explained the problem in easy to understand terminology. He always listens and is very attentive, answering all my questions. Dr. Frazee is directly violating COVID-19 protocols and putting his patients at risk. Not only is he removing his own mask to examine patients, he's also asking patients to remove their masks. His office has always had pros and cons, but I would absolutely not recommend him based on his current practices.

I have been a patient of Dr. Frazee for over 20 years. Even after selling our home in Plano and moving up to Lake Texoma 5 years ago, I continue to see Dr. Frazee for my semi-annual exams. Obviously, I am very satisfied with the care and advice he has provided over this long period. His attention to all the data generated by each exam has been consistently demonstrated and much appreciated.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr Frazee for some years now. He is very straightforward and to the point. He does not make small talk, he has no sense of humor, he is not warm and fuzzy BUT he does make me feel confident in his diagnoses, he makes me feel confident in his ability to take care of my eyes. During exams, he was focused and dictated findings to his assistant in a clear and concise manner. My wife went in for a routine eye exam but was told she is about to have a major issue with her retina and should be seen by a retina specialist asap. His office contacted my wife's PCP right away for referral. Her condition was serious enough that the retina specialist ordered the first available surgery. We can't thank Dr Frazee and his team enough for the diag and quick action. My son, who does not live in Dallas and who himself is a doctor, gets his eyes examed by Dr Frazee whenever he is back in town because he is confident in the care he received. We will be back to see Dr Frazee.

Dr. Frazee is a superb Doctor and Ophthalmologist. He has probably seen more eye patients than any other Ophthalmologist in North Texas. he is quite thorough and has every needed piece of testing equipment that few other eye doctors would have. His office runs with a military precision and very few eye problems are rare to him as he has seen so many patients. Never had to wait more than 10 minutes and found his staff to always be helpful. He is not a Doctor that will give you lots of emotional pampering, but is straight forward and to the point as a professional should be. I have referred 7 different patients to him, several with severe and rare eye problems and they all have thanked me and been more than satisfied and feel fortunate to have him as their eye doctor.

I went to Dr. Frazee for dry irritated eyes. After doing one test he tried to strong-arm me into getting punctal plugs, which is a surgery to plug your tear ducts. He didn't listen to anything I said, nor did he make any other suggestion. He didn't offer me any other treatment, nor suggest anything else. In addition, he spoke to me very condescendingly and to his assistant as if she were his slave. After getting a second opinion, I confirmed what i already believed, which is there are several things a person can try before taking the rather extreme step of plugging one's tear ducts. Dr. Frazee didn't even attempt to discover what might be causing my irritation, and, he said that no other doctors would understand the procedure he recommended. BIG RED FLAG!!! I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this doctor, as he's a mill for plugging tear ducts and getting money for a procedure I'd bet was not necessary in 99% of the patients he performs it on. Stay away!!

I am a plastic surgeon and so my vision is critical to my career and life. I have been a member of the medical community in Plano for 27 years and I know who is good and not so good. I have been under the care of Lewis Frazee for 20 years for these reasons: he is an excellent ophthalmologist, is kind, and runs a very efficient office. I am always in and out within an hour and his staff is equally king. I hope he never retires.

He does not greet you, doesn't say hi, how are you. The only time he talks is to tell you about his eye glasses lab and hand you a brochure. The office staff make you feel rushed, do not check your benefits, it's a three hour visit minimum. Horrible experience.

His office has gotten too busy. Each visit takes me three hours. I had to make an appointment for 3 months later than I needed bc he is so booked. The staff was not helpful. Then, they overcharged me in the bill they mailed me and I had to call them.

Dr. Frazee is a great doctor. Very knowledgeable and up to speed with the latest treatments. Answers all you questions and spends enough time to diagnose your condition and discuss treatments. The staff are great too. Professional, courteous and well trained. Hey, they are all in a public service industry. Sometimes they spend more time with a patient than might be anticipated. Sometimes that patient is me and I appreciate it. So sometimes you wait a little longer. My advice. Be patient, these
