I have gone to this doctor for more than 20 years. He has treated me for narcolepsy and cluster headaches dI had an appointment in May and he gave me my dextroamphetamines for narcolepsy but said that he no longer wants me taking more than 3 fioricet a week because the government is restricting Controlled substance prescriptions. He used to give me 100 fiorict at a time. Sometimes my headache would last 20 days and then they went away for months. He gave me less than a weeks notice to get new dr. I called him. he treated me for 25+ years and my condition was documented by sleep studies and I was reviewed by Social Security and was approved for disability. His letter stated "Your primary care physician may be comfortable refilling the fioricet but I am not, particularly since you are also taking Dexedrine with is stimulant medication, the combination of which I believe is not in your best interest. He was giving me both for over 25 years. Why is he practicing?

I had the opposite experience I see on other reviews -- mine was very, very good. Dr. Geiger explained my headache origins clearly. To confirm his diagnosis, he suggested a Sleep doctor. When I had insurance issues with a sleep study, Dr. Geiger's office arranged an in home kit that is covered by my insurance. This was above and beyond expectations since I did not request this, and was surprised when I got the call from the kit supplier that it was on the way.

very disappointed in his cavalier attitude..especially since my pcp recommended him. Completely blew a lumbar/stenosis diagnosis, saying I just had hamstring Muscle strain.Ignored fact that I had numbness in hamstring, had osteo, and I was 77 years old!SHOULD HAVE DONE AN X RAY.2 months of unnecessary pain.Another Dr diagnosed the issue in 5 minutes n confirmed it with an x ray.
