Worst Surgeon ever. He put in his own designed prosthetic for my hip. It caused me pain for 8 years till another doc told me the prosthetic was grinding on my femur as I walked. Once it was removed, I was pain free. Wouldn't recommend him for anything.

After a bad hip pinning, Dr Whiteside took me as a patient and gave me my life back. I had previously suffered for 18 months prior to finding him. One leg was so much shorter than the other and prior to his surgery, I had a terrible limp. He corrected the limp and gave me my life back. I am so appreciative of his vast experience and patence.
He was supposed to fix a problem another surgery created in my hip. Removed the muscle and now my hip keeps popping out of place. When I went back to him with this problem, he said it was all my fault, and it shouldn't be happening. Then stated that it might do that for the next 2 years. I can't get anyone to even look at me now. I went from having difficulty walking to being disabled! This man has totally ruined my quality of life! AND....he won't even take responsibility or apologize!

When I went to him, I was so down in the dumps about my knee OA. It had negatively affected all aspects of my life. Started thinking, this can't be my life at 44. This man gave me back my life! I will be forever grateful for his expertise in knee replacements and down right kindness, he's the nicest man! 9wks post op and the results exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds! His entire staff was wonderful!

I trusted Dr. Whiteside with my Life...18 years later...best decision WE could have made.
in Auxvasse, MO |
Dr. Whiteside performed a total hip replacement on my husband.. He had had one replaced already by a different doctor and this experience was much easier. He has had less pain and needed much less rehabilitation this time around. He was referred to us by a couple of my clients and we had heard great things about Dr. Whiteside. They were all TRUE. He is a brilliant physician and we couldn't be happier with the experience of his care. I will definitely have him do my next knee replacement!
