Staff were very professional. Radiographer was excellent. I am a physician but Dr. Ludwig treated me as a patient. Which is good. He made no assumption I knew how to proceed with my evaluation and took the time to explain what he was checking and the results. He thoroughly explained the x-ray findings and offered me options regarding treatment. I have referred many patients to him over the years and no one ever complained about their experience with him in the office or OR. Excellent physician.

My appointment was right on time, meaning there was only a few minutes of waiting to be seen. Dr Ludwig thoroughly explained the ex-rays of my shoulder and why I’m in pain. He’s been my orthopedic surgeon since 1989 and I choose that he will continue to be!

Was my 6 month follow up to a right knee replacement. From the first visit in April of 2019 to the surgery in November of 2019 to now I have nothing but praise for Dr Ludwig and the entire staff. They treat you with respect, compassion, they make sure that you understand treatment methods and decisions are yours. Could not be more pleased with my outcome. From the time you arrive to the time you leave, everyone is great!

I have a shoulder problem. Dr. Ludwig helped me in the past. He used to be a more helpful doctor. He does knee replacements now. His only drawback is that he takes a typical OCI cookie cutter approach. If your problem doesn’t fit the mold he won’t help you. He used to be more helpful. OCI is very much about their brand name and so are it’s doctors. That is sad but it is reality.

Dr. Ludwig was outstanding with my knee replacement. I highly recommend him for anyone getting a knee replacement. I am just waiting on my healing process before I have him replace my other knee. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from a doctor . I had my knee replaced at St. John's and Dr. Ludwig along with his fellow visited me in a timely fashion. His follow up and support along with very specific guidelines were extremely helpful. Thanks again Dr. Ludwig.
