I wish it would let me give ZERO stars because Dr. Raley is TERRIBLE. My dad went to him just a few days after finding out he had cancer for an emergency surgery to put a bag on so he wouldn’t go septic. My dad was terrified and didn’t even have a chance to grasp he had cancer before he was having this surgery. His cancer doc told him that he could give him a few more years after surgery and chemo if dad worked hard. Dr. Raley laughed in dad’s face and told him that the cancer doctor was wrong. For one, it’s not Dr. Raley’s job to decide how bad cancer is. Secondly, you don’t treat ANYONE, especially someone who just found out that had colon/liver cancer a few days prior to surgery, like that. He took away my dad’s fight.. my dad’s hope.. my dad’s strength. My dad left even more scared then when he came. Dr. Raley discouraged him from chemo and my dad passed away less than two weeks later scared and depressed thanks to Dr. Raley. I wouldn’t recommended Dr. Raley to anyone.

Dr. Raley was amazing. He put me at ease from the minute he walked in the door. I had complications from a hemorrhoidectomy done by a general surgeon (big mistake on my part) and Dr. Raley took care of my problem. I wish I would have seen Dr. Raley in the first place. He always took plenty of time to answer my questions and explain what was going on. His staff is wonderful, too. If you are considering hemorrhoid surgery, don't do it with a general surgeon - ask for a referral to Dr. Raley.
