Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Katzman "Dr. Katzman's care philosophy revolves around the oath that he took upon becoming a medical doctor (M.D.), "first, do no harm". Because of his extensive training in both the medical and surgical management of cornea disease, Dr. Katzman only offers surgery to those that truly need it or where nonsurgical management would be inappropriate or insufficient. Patients should be mindful anytime they are seeing a surgeon in any specialty, even outside of ophthalmology. Doing surgery is easy for a surgeon, but knowing when NOT to do surgery is what sets apart a great doctor from the rest."

Dr. Katzman truly cares for his patients. He takes the time to not only figure out what's best for the eyes, but also is very friendly and has a warm personality. His "bedside" manor, along with his knowledge and skill as a surgeon make him an outstanding doctor.
