He is incompetent and needs to retire. I have had nothing but pain and complications since my surgery with Weprin. There was another doctor in the office but he was young and I wanted someone with more experience. Silly me. He's too old to be doing serious procedures. Apparently he is going to have to put someone in a coma before the suits at Baylor care enough to protect the patients.
Arlington, TX |
I won't go back. He was very condescending. He told me I probably needed surgery so I just asked basic questions about what he would be doing and if there were any other options. He acted almost offended that I would ask questions and got very short with me, shrugged his shoulders and said "It's up to you if you want to live with this."
Plano, TX |
Argumentative and forgetful. Saw him for sleep apnea. He wanted to schedule me for surgery. I told him I wanted to get tested for allergies first. He seemed to get irritated at that. He seemed way too eager to get me into the operating room. When he brought back the wrong person's chart for the second time, I decided I didn't want someone that absent-minded slicing me open. I paid the co-pay and left. Went to another doctor who confirmed I do have allergies. I don't recommend Weprin.
Dallas, TX |
Dr. Weprin botched my surgery. He was supposed to straighten my deviated septum. I went to another doctor afterwards who said Weprin took out too much cartilage and this has caused nasal valve collapse. This means my nose caves inward when I breathe and it cuts off my air. I never had this problem until after he operate on me. It has taken a terrible toll on my sleep and I am exhausted. I will have to get a plastic surgeon to repair what he did.
Desoto, TX |
Dr. Weprin should not be doing surgery anymore. Don't risk it. He severed a nerve in my neck and has caused multiple problems. And, he wouldn't admit he made a mistake. I knew it the moment I awoke from surgery and for over a year now he has denied any responsibility.

Dr. Weprin was wonderful with my 18yo son. The office staff could not have been nicer and was so helpful. His nurse Nadine is so great as well. Thank you all for taking such good care of him.

I've now been waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes past my appointment time and they have not called me back. Don't waist your time. Find a different doctor.

Nice guy, but was poor in explaining what went on. Also I now have a $13k hospital bill that medical aid has rejected due to them saying I did not need the surgery. How can nasal surgery not be needed when I couldn't breath though one side of my nose. Although this is a medical aid issue, it seems Dr Weprin office has not backed up any request from Blue Cross for paperwork. Contacting him lately has also been very difficult since he moved offices.
