Accepting new patients
Dr. Lustig is the Howard W. Smith Professor and Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Columbia University and New York Presbyterian Hospital. He treats a variety of disorders in both children and adults related to the ear, including cochlear implants for deafness, cholesteatoma and the complications of otitis media (ear infections), otosclerosis and other forms of hearing loss, and tumors of the temporal bone and skull base. Dr. Lustig also runs a research lab where he is studying the development of cochlear gene therapy for a variety of forms of inherited hearing loss.
