Compassionate, professional, up with newest treatments. Listens well. Dr. Jacobsf has done more for me in one year than other doctors have done in several. He also has a wry sense of humor which helps in dealing with painful and difficult diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. I don't like going to the DR; I can't wait to go see him. The only rating that's less than 5 pertains to one office staff member who, as a another reviewer notes, is often snappy, rude and condescending.

Have been seeing Dr. Jacobs for five years for R.A. Nothing has changed save for my condition getting worse. He gives the impression that he's phoning it in until he retires. If that were the only issue, I'd stick it out. However, his front office staff & nurses are the worst I've ever encountered. The slender dark-haired girl (maybe 30?) who is often sitting at one of the front windows has no business interacting with people in need. Extremely rude & rigid. Watched her make a 70 year old cry

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
