Dr.Helprin is a true professional. He is thorough , clear and attentive. He is NOT a turnstile and assembly line DR. He sat with me during a very troubling time and made me feel like all was gonna be ok.I had my first injury after 40 years in the construction industry. Dr.Helprin and his staff we’re absolutely amazing and refreshing that this kind of approach to health care still exists The beautiful and pristine office just reflects my experience. Special thanks to Margie Melendez and the whole patient care team. It is no surprise that he is a leader in orthopedic community, sincere gratitude. JSHINE

I didn't believe that anyone could fix my injury, but Dr. Halperin was honest and kind. He performed a procedure that provided great relief for me. I still have to do some physical therapy work to do, but I'm on my way to being whole again.

It was excellent. Needed a cortisone shot in my right thumb due to increasing pain from osteoarthritis. Dr. Halperin located the exact spot and administered the shot (which was painful but couldn't be helped) while joking to take my mind off of what was coming. Dr. Halperin will always be one of my favorite doctors due to his loving care of my now deceased elderly mother some 15+ years ago. You'll lose a gem when he retires.

I loved his "bed side" manner and his expertise! I had a complex wrist fracture because of a previous break 17 years earlier coupled with a more resent break. He was trying to determine the course of action that was right for me. He took into account my age, my level of daily activity and the fact that I am a care giver that someone depends on multiple times a day. I actually asked him, "What would you advise your wife to do given the circumstances"? Ultimately the choice was mine but I felt that I mattered to him and that I had clear, knowledgeable information to make a confident decision.

Pat Harker – May 25, 2021
He operated on my left hand in August 2021. Problems were: the first 3 fingers had a numbness in the finger tips, and the thumb was painful to move sideways. He said removing the carpal bone for each would cure it. The finger tip problem was cured, however the thumb problem was not cured, and hurt more than before. He looked at the x-ray and said there is a bone pushing on a nerve, and if it gets painful enough, and want this removed, call me. I asked why he did not see this while I was opened up? no reply. Please note: the thumb problem was the bigger problem. if this gets painful enough, I will find a different hand doc.

Still have pain in hand. he performed surgery on my left hand which needed a release of the bone, and that part came out OK. There was a problem with the thumb which he said needed a a bone release in a different spot The pain I had before the surgery in that spot was greater after the surgery. he looked at the xray and pointed out a bone "which needed removal. Why did not he see that when the hand was opened up?

He was very thorough with explaining my elbow problem. Instead of sending me to have PT, he suggested stretching exercises I can do, at home. He was patient and he listened to my concerns, which is rare with some doctors. I have already referred others to see him.
