This content was provided by Dr. Amesse "Dr. Amesse is a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist & Infertility specialist and OB/GYN who is fellowship trained in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecologist. Dr. Amesse practices in Palm Beach County, Florida. He is the Medical Director of Fertility Florida and directs the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. He serves on the faculty of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, Florida Atlantic University, as an Affiliate Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science. For over 30 years Dr. Amesse has treated a variety of gynecologic conditions that affect young girls and adolescents. He is nationally recognized for his comprehensive management of young girls and adolescents with congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract and polycystic ovary syndrome as well as performing minimally invasive surgery in young girls. Additionally, Dr. Amesse is an internationally acknowledged expert in evaluating and managing bleeding disorders in adolescents with heavy menstrual periods. He has conducted basic science and clinical research in this area and has published extensively in this field. Prior to establishing Fertility Florida, Dr. Amesse served as a Professor of OB/GYN and Pediatrics at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where he was the founding Director of the Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology Section. He was the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at that institution. He has also served on faculty at University of Louisville and Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Amesse also has an special interest in all aspects of infertility and has an active practice that treats these disorders by a variety of methods including IVF."
