Worst dr I’ve ever seen. Becomes complacent with her patients and was careless with confidentiality.

Dr. Gearhart has been my physician for many years. Under her care I had confidence my health was in good hands. She is personable, listened to my concerns and I felt gave good advice, practical for everyday life and encouraging when I slipped in self-care. The only reason I left her care is because she joined a Professional Organization that requires yearly fees. However that organization provides better care, easier access to the doctors and testing that mainstream physicians cannot give because of insurance restrictions. If you can afford to pay the MDVIP fee yearly, by all means do and go to Dr. Gearhart.

Dr. Gearhart became my primary care physician under tough circumstances. We had just lost our prior PCP and I was ill. She coordinated the care of 6 specialists and drugs so that today I am well again. She’s available, pleasant and thorough.

I established with this doctor in June 2018 and she asked me why I switched doctors and I told her that my old doctor was starting a new program where she charged people (who have insurance) to see her. I told her I thought the program was useless and basically scamming old people into thinking that they need to pay this premium to see a doctor even though they already have insurance. Dr. Gearhart agreed with me and said she thought for someone my age, it didn't make any sense to sign up for a p

Dr Gearhart was very prompt and kind to me when I was misdiagnosed by a healthcare facility. She prescribed the appropriate medication for a Kidney infection. She checked in with me to make sure I was feeling better. I highly recommend her!

Dr Gearhart was a kind and attentive physician, whom I saw for several years. I planned for her to continue to be my attending physician; however, I got behind on a bill ( which I take total responsibility for). I made an annual appointment, but then was called the day before notifying me she had terminated me as a patient for an unpaid balance, which I had paid prior to making the appointment. I understand it's a business, but I was disappointed to be terminated from care over $150.

Gearhart made a sloppy mistake in filling out a “do not resuscitate” form for my mother at the hospital. Gearhart’s mistake caused the hospital to call me and adamantly insist that they could not further resuscitate my mother. I had to THREATEN to sue the hospital to get them to agree to further resuscitate my mother. My mother survived. In aggravation, Gearhart then tried to COVER UP her mistake. Gearhart’s attempt to cover up her mistake was the scariest part of this situation. SCARY.

Dr Gearhart was great! Saw her to establish care since I moved out here. Of course I had saved up several issues until I couldn't stand it anymore. She listened, took at least 30-45 min with me, and was very proactive. I am a nurse and can be pretty picky. She is definitely a keeper!

Dr. Gearhart was very kind, took extra time with me, to explain things I did not understand. I did have to leave a message to schedule with the doctor, but received a return call each time. The staff was easy to talk to and did there best to help me when I called with problems. I would recommend this doctor if you are looking for old school care, and not what the government is trying to push these doctors into.

AWFUL! No compassion/interest in wanting to help me. No knowledge of my condition, she asked me what my medications were.RED FLAG. Seems she stopped educating herself after graduating. A good doc can find the ROOT cause of your health issues. Instead of healing you, she will medicate you to treat the side effects of your health problem. Ask her, what's the root cause of my health issues? If she doesn't know, see another doctor. There's always a root cause.
