Dr. Makk is the best!!! I've been with him for several years and you will find no better of a person and Doctor. He is so caring for the patient. He gives your time to explain your issue and then he takes action on what action he needs to take. I will forever be a fan of his and I will be around as long as he will have me!!!! Thank you for everything you've done for my family and myself! Love hugs and prayers always!

I was hospitalized with GI bleeding. Dr. Makk was asked to consult on my illness. He never came in to exam me or visit. His nurse practitioner came and wrote orders that conflicted with the hospitalist. Everyone was confused, including me. The whole hospitalization was a fiasco. No one seemed to know who was the primary MD. An ego battle took precedence over patient care.

Dr. Laszlo J. Makk did a colonoscopy on me, as I recalled, everything went very well. I was briefed on what steps needed to be taken prior to & after procedure. It was understood that my knowledge of that importance wasn't taken lightly. Such concerns & professionalism assured my trust in him & his staff. As a matter of fact, everything from the preparation to the colonoscopy & it's completion was well organized & seamless.

My experience with Makk was awful. 3weeks after he did a colonoscopy , with a prognosis of mild inflammation. I ended up in the ER: 2/3 of my colon was so inflamed I had to stay a week at the hospital. Although I called Makk many times when my symptoms started after that colonoscopy, he never asked me to come see him and just ordered meds and told me I was ok. He called me only once , his nurse was the one handling the communications. He completely missed the sense of urgency.
