Dr. Widdel is honest, experienced, and took great pains to ensure that we had all of our questions answered and concerns addressed. These are not universal traits for a surgeon. My family is so grateful to him for his candor and his patience. He never made us feel rushed and never made us feel like our questions were beneath him. I hope you never need his services but if you do, you'll be in good hands.

Dr Widdel and his staff have provided the worst experience ever in my life. They don't care about their patients whatsoever. 2 weeks out of surgery and can't get any help with pain. Now I have other parts of my lower body that dont work properly.

Worst experience ever!!! Had 2 back surgeries after complications with the first and now second surgery, now have an infection. Call office never hear back from them, cut open twice and doc left me in no ones care. Very upset that am now worse off then the first surgery, can barley walk now. Do NOT USE THIS DOC. HORRIBLE!!!!
Loveland, CO |
Dr, and staff ignored requests given orally and in writing for specific treatment, resulting in severe, unnecessary pain. Dr. was rarely seen and did not give full explanation of extent of surgery, before or after. Staff did not listen to patient and patient was kept waiting for more than an hour during 2-week post-surgery appointment.

I had severe pain from 2 bulging discs and was referred to Dr. Widdel. His office could not fit me in for an appointment until three weeks after the injury. I was still in serious pain. The doctor did a good job of explaining the function of discs and vertebrae, however he didn't do anything to help. He said he wanted another scan and to see him at his next available appt (which is yet another month out). He also referred to pain mgt. doctor. Never heard from them. Office didn't fax order
