He then proceeded with a fellowship in medical and surgical retina at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has developed his experience drawing from his German background and American schooling. Board certified in Ophthalmology, he truly enjoys caring for patients with retinal problems, including retinal detachment, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and many other retinal problems. Outside of work, he is an avid runner, having finished the New York Marathon and Berlin Marathon as well as the OKC and Tulsa half marathons."
