What People Say About Dr. Larry Chou, MD

I have to say I think he is the most competent doctor for pain. He absolutely did. I think he's a really cool doctor I wish all my doctors were like him. I only had one problem at the end, I cannot take steroids my BP & heart rate goes up. I asked him if the shots were steroids. I was on the table for injection in spine he said, "no, no, no, no, this is something different" But it wasn't. I could have had a heart attack or a stroke. But this one oversight aside, he's really a great doctor.

Dr. Chou gave me a concise opinion for the back and leg pain I’ve been experiencing. My wife has treated with him in the past and I have no regrets over seeing him and getting his expert opinion of my condition. I will continue to see him going forward.

Dr. Chou, Lucy, and Renee are in a category of their own. I have been with the practice for years good and bad times and no matter what they always treated me with the kindness and compassion you dont find anymore. Dr. Chou himself is one of the most patient caring knowledgeable doctors you could ever find. He takes the time to weigh out the risks and benefits and always does what is best for each INDIVIDUAL patient. I am blessed to have them caring for me.

Dr. Chou is the most communicative and patient-centered doctor I have ever had care for me. I felt like we moved back in time to when doctors spent the time a patient needed to really understand the options, benefits and risks, and what I wanted to know and say. Dr. Chou is a rare clinician and one I am thrilled to have as part of my care team.

I am very impressed with the care I received starting with the receptionist to the doctor.. Everyone seemed knowledgeable and concerned that I would receive the best results from my care as possible. Each step that was taken was explained so I would understand what my treatment would be. I never felt that my questions would not be fully answered.

Dr. Chou has saved my life. I have suffered for 7 years with sacroiliac joint disfunction, and while other pain management doctors failed miserably in understanding and treating my condition, Dr. Chou was steadfast in never giving up on me. He aided not only in managing my chronic and excruciating pain but recommended I have a medical procedure to correct and alleviate the pain from the SI Joint disfunction. I have now had the corrective surgery and am on the road to recovery. A brilliant Dr!
