Called the office to schedule a appointment, before getting 10 words out the office staff informed me she was booking months out and I should go to a walk-in. Any questions I tried to ask after were answered with "I don't know ask a walk-in". I have heard great things about Dr. Bishop but unfortunately the office staff does not meet the level of customer service a fast food restaurant should have. Overall the woman sounded annoyed that she had to answer a phone call.

I'm not sure how good this physician is, I never got past the self important office staff wit ha referral. They advised 3 months after my referral they weren't taking new patients. Totally understood, but with the condescending attitude It was difficult to find another provider. Memo to front office: You arent that self important as you think. People need to see a dermatologist for legit reasons. Get off your high horse and actually help people, which by the way, is your charter

Never got to see doctor, only a PA. She wanted to do surgery on a suspicious mole, so I went to get a second opinion at a real doctor. When I told him what the PA said, he said no surgery was required and the mole was normal. I will never go back!

Both Doctor Bishop and his PAs are overly arrogant. It got to the point where they were overly aggressive in ordering what turned out to mostly benign biopsies... Obviously increasing their income but doing little good for me. They have little or no respect for the opinions of their patients.

Waited one hour to see an NP. Not a Dr. Very inconsiderate of my time. I would have left but had already paid my co-pay. Didn't apologize for the wait or my inconvenience. I mentioned that I had being waiting an hour to the person who put me in the room. The response, "sorry were running a little behind". Not acceptable.

After several other opinions and ultimate frustration, I made an appointment with Dr. Bishop regarding my skin cancer. He took a generous amount of time to discuss my case with me and review all of my options as well as inquire as to the details of my journey over several months that led me to his office. Everyone I encountered at both his Melbourne and Viera office was wonderful. It is obvious they all love what they do. I am switching Dermatologists.

I moved to the area a couple of years ago and brought notes from my old Derm. I saw a Physicians Asst who discont some Rx creams I was using, did not look at the notes and I had to discontinue the new Rx after a week for problems it caused. Next year I asked for someone else and got a Nurse Pract who was better but not an MD. I had a problem requiring an MD and notes from 2 doctors were lost in the shuffle and I was told Dr. Bishop only does surgery & follow-up only. I went somewhere else.
