I have extensive medical history regarding my spine and have seen countless doctors to help me with my pain. I recently saw Dr. Khoury about inserting a permanent spinal cord stimulator in my spine. During our initial visit, I was impressed by the way he was listening intently to what I had to say and felt. He quickly scheduled my surgery because he felt the urgency in me to get it done to alleviate my pain. He goes over and above to make you feel cared for, because he does care. I have 2 incisions and both were done beautifully with minimal scarring. I'm so impressed with his care that I am having him take over all my future spinal care. I also want to mention that his PA Paul is wonderful and is very proactive during care. Last but certainly not least, his Admin. Assistant, Josie is one of the best advocates out there. I just love her! I love this team and highly recommend them to anyone for the highest quality and compassionate care!

I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Khoury without hesitation. My wife and I found him to be a caring, trustworthy, and highly skilled neurosurgeon. He patiently answered our questions. My post surgery outcome (a laminectomy L4-5) was far better then expected. I had bilateral foot drop and was not able to walk. Dr. Khoury explained what my MRI showed (a very large herniated disc) and the next day (6/15/21) he operated to relieve crushed nerves. Urgent action was called for to give me a chance at regaining mobility. After surgery I gradually began to take steps and then two weeks later began walking. For me it felt like a true gift ... a miraculous result. Sign me a very grateful patient. (His PA Paul T. is also terrific.)

Dr. Khoury, his PA & all of his incredible staff are absolutely wonderful! At the lowest point in my life, Dr. Khoury saved my life. Post surgery, I’ve been to his office multiple times. They are consistent with their level of care and compassion. I have recommended him and his office to multiple friends & family. I would not hesitate to tell anyone that this office would 100% take care of you or your family. God bless Dr. Khoury & his wonderful staff!

Dr. Khoury has excellent bedside manner and truly cares for his patients. He is very attentive and listens to you and answers all your questions. Dr. Khoury's office staff along with his secretary are very helpful and always there to answer any questions as well. Would not be doing as good as I am without them.

I have never met a more condensing doctor! He refused to acknowledge the rare conditions that I have. Age has nothing to do with the effect of genetic disorders on the spine. I have proven hypermobility syndrome from a geneticist and confirmed CranioCervical Instability from MULTIPLE specialists. He refused to acknowledge my conditions and how to help. He recommended PT, which is contraindicated in my severe case of CCI. He laughed at my case and told me my hopes for surgery were ridiculous. I have a constant heavy headache and vertigo and he made me cry for most of the appointment! I am highly educated in my conditions and he talked to me like I was an idiot. I now have to travel 14 hours away for a neurosurgeon who truly specializes in my condition and the surgery needed to fix it long term.

Dr. Khoury successfully performed Micro vasular decompression surgery for my wife (84 years of age) with Trigeminal Neuralgia. She was admitted to the hospital because her medications had failed to stop the pain without causing her harm. Dr. Khoury was amazing. He sought us out while my wife was still unconscious in the ICU. After her surgery, the Trigeminal pain was completely gone. Dr. Khoury had wonderful bedside manners and visited my wife several times while recovering in the ICU. Other doctors had already given up hope on stopping the Trigeminal pain before we met Dr Khoury. Our deepest thanks to him.

I have had multiple medical problems for 20 years including 3 types of arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have never met a physician as extraordinary as Dr Khoury. Dr khoury listens to every aspect of your situation with sincere dignity and respect. Before I met Dr Khoury March of 2019 I spoke with Edna (Dr Khourys assistant)several times. I have never been so well informed prior to my initial consultation as well as preparing for surgery. I was in so much constant pain it was hard for me to be nervous. Edna and Dr Khoury are such an amazing team I could not have asked for a better outcome. I live in Greenville NC 1 1/2 hours from the office, without hesitation I would drive even further because I know I will receive the most outstanding care in NC as well as other states. I had cervical spine fusion in April 2019 I have healed better then I could have ever expected. I am positively recommending anyone searching for a fantastic physician and team Your Search is Complete. Thank you
