I was there for pain in my hand and fingers. After x-rays and evaluation from Dr. Rao, she proceeded to explain and discuss treatment. She did the treatment and I'm pleased with my visit. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends.

Impressive. Dr. Rao listened to my description, asked key questions, and then examined my thumbs/wrist by pressing on key points. She quickly found the trouble spots. Then she showed me those areas on the X-ray and explained the source of discomfort/pain. She presented 3 or 4 options for treatment and let me chose. I didn't feel at all rushed, got my concerns addressed and am pleased with the treatment. It was worth waiting 8 weeks to get in to see her.

As a physician myself, I was extremely impressed and very pleased with my new appointment visit with Dr. Rao. She took a detailed history of my pain symptoms, she performed a careful physical exam of my injury, she reviewed and explained my X rays to me and she provided a diagnosis for my injury. She provided me with several treatment options and explained the pros and cons of each treatment option. She was very clear in her communicating and explaining the anatomic problems with my injury and the available therapeutic solutions. She was professional and personable and presented with a comfortable and confident demeanor. I left her office with an understanding of my injury and a complete confidence in Dr Rao’s knowledge and her abilities to help me manage and treat my injury. I am very pleased that I chose her as my hand surgeon.

Honest and straightforward with concern. Initial diagnosis turned out to be something different so was very involved in the after surgery-when I thought there was an issue , it was dealt with immediately. Consulting Dr. praised the excellent work done in surgery. Overall, the doctor and her assistants were most excellent and the office staff first rate.

I’ve been seeing Dr Roa for more than 4 years and she is very good. She re-attached the tendon to my bicep, left virtually no scar and with quick recovery. I get cortisone shots every 6 months and barely know when she has injected it. I have great confidence in her.

I think Dr. Rao is outstanding. I've been going to her for 3 or 4 years now, for trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome. I just love her; she is empathetic, skilled, knowledgeable, warm, caring, and personable. I highly recommend her if you have any issues with your hands or forearms.
