Dr. Mangels is absolutely amazing. He has been so wonderful with my mother and my family. He listens to your concerns and needs. I would recommend my fends and other family members to use him.

Dr. Mangles has a terrible name for a surgeon. ?? But don't let the name put you off. He is outstanding. I never once felt like he was in a rush to leave the room. He listened to my concerns and was up front about everything. And he is funny to boot! Highly recommend Dr. Mangles. His staff is great and Tulsa Spine and Specialty is top notch. Don't get cut on without checking them out. Full stop!

He performed my ulnar nerve & disk replacement surgery. My right pinky finger & elbow had intense pain & numbness before surgery. After surgery no change in right elbow and fingers, and left hand also had immediate pain and numbness (but in thumb and forefinger). This has not gone away 12 mo. later. He was very friendly until I told him numbness & pain was worse. He did another scan, told me it looked fine, and told me to "have a nice day" (his exact words). No follow up, no concern, nothing.

Dr. Mangels was an amazing doctor to me! I seen him 1 time and he immediately had me scheduled 2 days later. I had to have emergency surgery and he took amazing care of me. He is a blessing! Thank you!!! The only complaint I have is with his office and scheduling. I had a referral and had my MRI results and his office REFUSED to schedule me promptly. I had to wait 1 month to get into him. Because of this long wait...... I probably will never get some mobility back in my foot and leg.

This is the only doctor I would let operate on my back. He is very friendly. He will take time to answer any question you might have. You never feel rushed when you are talking to him. He is a very conservative doctor, he will not say you need surgery unless you really do. The wait time can be long but he takes time to see you and talk to you. unlike some doctors where you wait 30 minutes to see them and they spend maybe 3 minutes talking to you.

Dr Man gels Is a very personable Dr. I WOULD NOT ALLOW any other Dr. In this state to perform lumbar surgery on me. He has a way of making me feel at ease, and has a very good bed side manner.
