Dr. Larson's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Larson "My background begins in Southern California where I was born and raised. My father, a family physician, was a major influence in my selecting a medical career and especially orthopedic surgery. I moved to Fredericksburg in 1992 after training at UCLA. I completed a research fellowship in Total Joint Replacement and a Sports Medicine fellowship each one year in length. I founded the Orthopedic Specialty Clinic in 1995 and we started seeing patients January 1996. Maria "Candy" Fontenot, our front office manager, has been with OSC since the beginning. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, allowing us to care for our Spanish speaking patients. We built the practice over the last 20 years, adding sub Specialty surgeons in hand, spine, sports medicine, pain management, and a fellowship trained podiatrist."

Dr. Larson and his staff are, in my opinion, the greatest. They are professional, courteous, and they take the time to listen to you and give you understandable explanations of treatment and/or procedures.

Love him, his nurse and PA Mark Ford. Some of the office staff are difficult to deal with and God forbid if you want your medical records because it will take every bit of 15 days even if its one piece of paper.
