Dr. George has dedicated himself to providing the highest quality of comprehensive care for his patients and believes in utilizing the latest technologies to provide this care.
Kristopher George, MD started his cardiac surgery training at The George Washington University and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then went to work at the Cleveland Clinic, gaining additional expertise in heart transplantation and artificial hearts during a heart failure surgery fellowship. He also spent two years learning minimally invasive valve surgery and complex cardiac re-operations while at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. George is an active member in several cardiac surgical societies and enjoys presenting his work at their annual meetings. Some of his work has been published in a variety of cardiac surgical journals, and videos of his work are published electronically on the internet.
Dr. George is board certified in cardiothoracic as well as general surgery. His cardiac surgery practice here at the Central Florida Cardiac and Vascular Instituteat Osceola Regional Medical Center includes all aspects of adult heart surgery with a special focus on minimally invasive valve surgery and complex reoperations. Dr. George is dedicated to providing the highest quality surgical care possible with a personal touch.
He enjoys spending his leisure time with his wife Sarah and their two children.
