I visited Dr. Kristoffer Padjen for the epidural injection for my severe lower back pain, referred by another doctor in the same clinic(NYU Langone Trinity). He looked up the report of what the other doctor diagnosed, and told me to schedule an appointment of epidural injection at a different clinic since this clinic does not have a facility for the injection.  This was only a 10 minute conversation, but I still received $950 medical bill. I have been requesting for medical reports and justification for the bill,  but Dr. Padjen's office never reaches back to me. I also ended up going to see a different pain management doctor since his earliest available date for the epidural injection was 1-month ahead.

I have been a patient of Dr. Padjen for 2 years. He totally changed my life. After about a year of going to various doctors about pain, he immediately figured out what to do. My life is so much better on this combination of meds. Dr. Padjen listened, asked about my actual life, adjusted meds as needed, etc. My highest recomendation!,

James in New York, NY – Nov 08, 2017
I had a cervical epidural injection today. Post operative disc replacement from Oct. 2017. The disc above is herniated, amongst other problems. I've had injections before and was always put to sleep with anesthesia. However with Dr.Padjen I was totally awake, required no anesthesia or pain medication. Just a little local anesthetic. Dr.Padjen was fantastic. Not only did I feel comfortable with his ability I felt totally at ease with his personality/bed side manner. The staff also fantastic.

Dr. Padjen is very personable. He listens carefully and is empathetic. I've left messages for him and have had them answered within a 24 hour period by phone. Knowing how time consuming his profession is and how demanding we patients are who are in pain, I so appreciate his attentiveness and his willingness to resolve the "pain" problem! He is an exceptional physician and this particular discipline is one he is "chosen" for in my estimation.

Lee Evans in New York, NY – May 31, 2017
Dr. Padgen is very instrumental in listening to patients' needs. After 5 + years of barely being able to walk, taking medicines that made me violently ill, it took Dr. Padgen one treatment to provide at least 75% pain relief and have me walking and standing straight. I could not be more pleased with his bedside manner and the mannerism of the entire staff. Thank you!
