Care Philosophy

Minimally invasive techniques minimize pain and risk. We are constantly updating surgical techniques to diminish the scars and pain that come with an operation by adding to the capabilities of minimally invasive surgery. While minimally invasive surgery is not right in every case, we may be able to offer your child surgical alternatives that are unavailable anywhere else in the world. We know what the latest techniques are: We invented many of them here. We know what you want for your child because we are parents too. You want your child's needs met with less hassle, with less delay, and with absolutely the latest technology. And that is just what the staff, nurse practitioners and surgeons at Rocky Mountain Pediatric Surgery deliver.Read more

Patient Reviews (1)
in Denver, Co |
During a very scary and emergency situation with our son, Dr. Shipman was terse, rushed, and seemed unconcerned with our care. Everytime she spoke with us she mentioned being busy with other cases and when we made a decision to switch providers her comment was you will really be missing out considering we were discussing the life of our 4 month old baby, we found that to be incredibly insensitive and cruel.
