Dr. Alden has done both of my knee replacements (2013 and 2015). I just had my annual followup and everything is great. Besides being a great surgeon, he has a great bedside/office manner. If a had a third knee, I'd go back to him in a second. Choosing any kind of surgery is a difficult decision, but this was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Friendly, easy going office where everyone is on a first name basis--including the doc! Of course, that would mean nothing without excellent care, and you get that too. They always have time to sit and listen, and to answer questions. You are treated like you are their most important patient. I am six months post knee replacement, and I am doing very well. My custom-made Swiss knee was expertly made and expertly inserted. I was expertly cared for. Now, can I say I am part Swiss?

Found dr. Alden to be knowledgeable and caring. Post surgery was painless. Results have allowed me to return to a much more active lifestyle. Did not fully realize what I was missing until post surgery. I really enjoy the outdoors and that had been compromised, really happy to have this part of my life returned. Services provided and my experiences far exceeded my expectations. Thanks and much appreciation Dr Alden and staff!

OMG what an excellent dr! Not only did he listen to my concerns, he answered every question I had, where I actually understood what he was referring to. AND he showed me pictures of what looks normal and compared it to my xrays/MRI. So I am extremely comfortable with the direction of my treatment. And this was only going to be a second opinion appointment! I am replacing as my knee Dr! Never felt this good about a dr in a long time.

For years I put off seeing a Doctor for my knee pain. I am now so glad I did. Dr. Alden and his team made everything feel so comfortable and did a great job explaining my options. I opted for a total knee. I am now 4 months post op and I feel fantastic. My only regret is not seeing him sooner.

Dr. Alden performed two total knee replacement surgeries for me in 2017. Both surgeries went as planned and have allowed me to return to an active lifestyle. I highly recommend Dr. Alden for this type of surgery.

Thought I had a hip tendonitis and thought a cortison shot would help. He explained my hip was just "bone on bone" and recommended surgery. Two days after my hip replacement I was walking with a walker. I quickly advanced to a cane and at 6 weeks was walking normally. Immediately after surgery I noticed the severe pain I had prior was completely gone. I feel like I have my life back. Cannot thank Dr. Alden enough. B. Thompson in Glen Ellyn, IL - November 30, 2018

I was diagnosed with a right hip that was bone on bone due to osteoarthritis. I was referred to Dr. Kris Alden who told me I would need a hip replacement, it would be out patient and I would walk out of the surge center under my own power. I was skeptical but he was right. I was immediately relieved of my hip pain and home in time for lunch! He is a miracle worker, a truly gifted surgeon. When I was diagnosed two years later with my left hip, I only missed seven days of work! Incredible!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Alden and his staff! From my first initial visit I felt very comfortable and confident that I would be receiving excellent care. Dr. Alden has a very calming sense about him and offers the time to thoroughly address any questions or concerns. He performed a hip replacement for me which the surgery and recuperation went flawless. I have seen many orthopaedic surgeons prior, and he is by far the best of the best! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Alden replaced my right hip on May 8. I am now pain free and much more mobile. He is compassionate, caring and a great surgeon. His staff is also helpful, friendly, kind and answered all my questions. The PA was also very kind, thoughtful, and spend a great deal of time with me as if I was her only patient.
