Konstantinos Charitakis, M.D. completed his Internal Medicine residency as well as fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at Cornell-New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Charitakis was then recruited to the University of Texas Medical School in Houston as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Cardiology and as a member of the Interventional Cardiology Team at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Dr. Charitakis is an interventional cardiologist with clinical expertise extending from the performance of complex coronary interventions to the endovascular treatment of peripheral artery disease. He is committed to training the next generation of physicians and plays an active role in the clinical education of medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
