This content was provided by Dr. Sajja "Dr. Kiran Sajja is a Board-Certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of the eyelids, face, orbit and lacrimal system. At Milan Eye Center, Dr. Sajja has dedicated his practice to reconstructive and aesthetic oculofacial plastic surgery. Dr. Sajja was born and raised in the Midwest, growing up in St. Joseph, Michigan. He was active in the community through his variety of academic, volunteer, and sports activities. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan with a concentration in biopsychology and cognitive sciences. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Sajja completed a highly competitive transitional internship at Northwestern University, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye & Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he was active in research in the field of oculofacial plastic surgery and recognized for his dedication to patient care. Following residency training, Dr. Sajja was chosen to pursue a highly selective two-year fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery at the Illinois Eye & Ear Infirmary. Under the direction of Dr. Allen Putterman, founding member and past president of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Sajja gained extensive expertise in the medical and surgical management of eyelid, facial, orbital and lacrimal conditions in adults and children. During his fellowship, Dr. Sajja continued to publish on medical and surgical techniques related to functional and cosmetic eyelid/facial conditions, as well as, delivering presentations at national symposia. Upon completion of his fellowship, Dr. Sajja has been committed to providing his patients unsurpassed care and technical expertise. Dr. Sajja has successfully treated patients with complex acute and chronic conditions referred from other eye care professionals and, most importantly, satisfied patients. Dr. Sajja has demonstrated the skill and artistry in performing cosmetic eyelid and facial surgery utilizing the most advanced and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Sajja has been designated, by his peers, as one of the "Best Doctors in America" in 2013 and 2014.When not caring for his patients, Dr. Sajja enjoys spending time with his wife, Anila, and his family. He also enjoys playing/watching sports, traveling, cooking, and exploring the outdoors."

My friend had a cataract surgery in Colorado 5 months ago, and still hasn't healed! Mine was perfect within 3 weeks! I couldn't recommend Dr. Sajja MORE than I already do to all of my friends. I look forward to my visits with him each time.
