Dr. Koran Kancharla has been my Oncologist since 2009. At that time, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, stage 3. Her professionalism and knowledge in treating my cancer is why I am here today. From the beginning, Dr. Kancharla always made me feel comfortable and that I understood my course of treatment and what to expect from the treatment. I always enjoyed my appointments with Dr. Kancharla as I left those appointments feeling empowered with the knowledge she provided me. I highly recommend Dr. Kieran Kancharla as an Oncologist for your cancer treatment needs.

My husband and I didn’t care for her bedside manner. If we didn’t understand something, she seemed to get annoyed and agitated if she had to repeat herself or better explain her findings in layman’s terms. She seemed rushed And impatient most of the time. After several appointments with her, we decided it was just her how she is. We regularly see different doctors for his various health conditions and we have never had this type of problem before. We see a different hematologist now and we are happy.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kancharla since 2009. Thanks to her knowledge and intelligence I am still able to right this review. She is very informative and takes her time to explain and answer questions in detail. I was diagnosed in 2009 and cured until I had a reoccurrence in 2016 with MBC. Thanks to her I am still able to live a normal life. Her staff is great and responsive. I know I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Dr. Kancharla. Thank you!

When I first met Dr. Kancharla, she was my second opinion Dr. I was in shock that I even needed chemotherapy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She recommended a treatment that was not as caustic as what had been suggested to me by the first doctor. She called me at home to advise that she had researched my specific needs and this was what I needed. 12 weekly sessions of chemotherapy and then 12 sessions of a drug, Herceptin, every 3 weeks, along with 37 radiation treatments were exactly what I needed. It’s been almost 5 years since that first meeting and Dr Kancharla has followed my care with diligence and compassion and I am cancer free. She has been thorough and never rushes me when I have questions. I recommend Dr Kancharla.
