I recently saw Dr. Workman about a medical condition regarding my knees. After reviewing the x-rays and taking into consideration my current condition and thoughts, she developed a treatment plan that I found satisfactory. The qualities that make Dr. Workman an excellent physician are several: She is considerate and a good listener. She patiently and respectfully answered all my questions. Following my experience with Dr. Workman, I feel optimistic about my treatment and possible improvement.

Dr Workman’s team was able to diagnose my problem and perform the repair surgery within one week of my accident! All team members treated me with respect and compassion. Follow up and physical therapy has been super…and at 12 weeks out from quad tendon repair I’m well on the way to a great recovery! I’m quite sure their speedy action made the difference…don’t know how my experience could have been better!

My care at this facility from start to finish was excellent. Dr. Workman did an amazing job on my surgery. I felt fully educated every step. The surgery day went so smoothly and every staff member was caring and attentive. I had anxiety the day of surgery and they were all so patient and kind about it.

I came in with a fractured right heel and shattered left heel & ankle joint. Dr. Workman chose to put a cast on the left. I asked if surgery would benefit me, she said no. At the 2m check up, when no progress, I asked about surgery. She replied “I am THE SPECIALIST. If you continue to question me, we won’t have a good working relationship”. She clearly did not like questions. I was in a cast from mid Sept to late Nov, with zero progress. I could not walk or put weight on the foot after cast came off. She DX me with CRPS, told me to go to PT, & sent me on my way...Still on a knee scooter. I ended up getting several opinions & all shocked it wasn’t done immediately. She was right about CRPS, it’s unfortunate she may have caused it with the cast instead of surgery. A referral to a specialist would have been good, along with someone to fix my broken heel/ankle given she was unsuccessful and unwilling to perform surgery. I ended up getting surgery by someone else, in order to walk again.

My visit was short and businesslike. Dr Workman did not seem to have a lot of time to listen. She was in and out. I still have questions. There was definitely a lack of empathy. My problem was addressed for short term but long term was left up in the air with some questions ignored. Would go somewhere else but I’m locked in here. The place has a very cattle call atmosphere.

Dr Workman was the surgeon who treated me for my complex LisFranc injury. Thanks to her I am back on my feet again. She was wonderful to work with. I was very badly injured and now have a lot of hardware in my foot. Nevertheless the pain has been minimal and after a lot of PT I’ve pretty much made a full recovery. I’m almost 70 years old and I was afraid this might be “that fall.” Dr Workman’s encouraging confidence helped me feel positive throughout the whole process. Her staff is great and as much as such a devastating injury can be made a positive experience they helped make it so.
