Austin, TX |
I'm amazed by the comment about Dr. Loar's bedside manner. I had severe endometriosis, resulting in the need to have a full hysterectomy at only 28, which she also performed. Several doctors around Austin were terribly cold and left me hanging out to dry because endometriosis isn't something that shows up on an ultrasound or test. Dr. Loar was the only doctor who listened to me and the only reason my diagnosis was finally possible. Don't mistake her directness for uncaring. She's a rockstar.

Took wonderful care of me and my baby girl. Cannot thank her enough. Such a difficult profession for selfless and skilled individuals. We will always be grateful.

Bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired, will not be returning to this Dr. Felt like she had her own agenda and not interested in listening to me as the patient and I was a new patient.
in Pflugerville, TX |
Went and had a procedure done by Dr. Loar and waited 30 minutes for them to check with my insurance and they came back and said it was covered 100% at no cost to me. Find out now the bill is $964.16 and went towards my deductible. Of course they have no record of checking with my insurance and Dr Loar said she never told us that. This is bad practice, both my daughter and I were there and heard her said it would be no cost to me. If you can;t trust your doctor who can you trust, obviously not th
