I found Dr. Pervaiz to be very courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable. He explained exactly what was wrong with my shoulder, how it could be fixed, and the expected results. Prior to the surgery, I came prepared with my questions which he carefully answered. The surgery was successful and I am very happy with the outcome.

I had very bad pain/numbness in my left hand and was diagnosed with carpal tunnel. I had never met Dr Pervaiz but I work in healthcare and his reputation preceded him. From the first time I met him he made me feel very comfortable and was excellent at explaining everything. I had the surgery 2 weeks ago and since then I have not had any pain or numbness from the carpal tunnel, just very minor surgical pain. The whole process was very easy and I was surprised at how little pain I had and how soon I was able to use my hand. I would highly recommend Dr Pervaiz!

I think Dr. Prevail may have a cultural bias against older women. I agree with others here that say that he has an awful bedside manner. His handshake is like a limp rag. He is abrupt and sure doesn’t respond well to questioning his opinion or asking questions. Not sure that he’s very knowledgeable about tendons and torn ligaments of the hand. Sometimes surgeons can cut and sew, but know little else and I decided to transfer my care elsewhere. I wouldn’t want any surgical or other interventions by a doctor like this. I felt he was a waste of time. I would never recommend any doctor who behaved this way. Seemed a little too impressed with himself.

I truly apprehensive about meeting a new specialist because I’d never had an issue with my hands before. I was relieved and honestly taken aback at the friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Pervaiz and his staff. They truly understood my apprehension and spoke to me with dignity and respect. They understood the urgency of me now being diagnosed with carpal tunnel in both hands. He kept me very informed and made sure to answer any and every question that I had. After having the surgery done, I must say it one of the best decisions that I’ve ever made in my life!! He gave me my life back! I could grab items and get back to being a wife and a mother of six amazing children. I just want to say thank you Dr. Pervaiz. You didn’t have to care about me and my family. You could’ve done what most doctors do which is disregard the urgency and igThank you for your expertise & your amazing bed side manner. What I said mattered as though I were part of your own family.

I had seen a couple Dr.'s for pain in my elbow and tingling in my fingers prior to being recommended to Dr. Pervaiz. The others just wanted to prescribe me pain meds but Dr. Pervaiz found that I had Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, he suggested surgery. I had "nerve relocation" surgery and the tingling was gone within 3 days, the only pain was just from the incision for a couple weeks after and even that was no big deal. Dr. Pervaiz and the staff at Orthopedic Associates of Central Maryland are the best! Highly recommended!!

I had a complete left biceps tendon tear and Dr Pervaiz's repair was excellent. At this point I have full range of motion, even better now than the other arm and the strength training has begun. The after surgery pain was minimal along with the surgery scar. A complete recovery is expected. Dr Pervaiz explained everything before the surgery was performed and he answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Everything went as described. The office people along with the people at the surgery center were also very friendly and helpful. A complete success.
